Please AVOID fabric softener, dryer sheets and/or bleach as the chemicals will only reduce the softness of the towels. Step 1 is not to be repeated afterwards just continue step 2! Washcloths are as described. They are perfect when taking make up off and cannot see staining of make up. They wash well. They are a must have item!These are great for removing make-up.They tend to fade in the first wash. I guess that is to be expected. Just wish they didn’t. I’d still purchase them again.The material created little balls or pills after 1 washing.These are excellent for guests. I bought some very nice towels that I don’t want ruined by makeup, so these are perfect.True cotton, not a micofiber. I stayed at an Airbnb that had these and fell in love. The black color hides mascara and makeup stains, very smart. I also bought them for a hostess gift and they were well received.The towels are a really good quality. They shrink a little when washed but maintain their softness and did not shed very much. I purchased the black and the color did not fade.Used “makeup” wash cloths in a Hilton Hotel. Became obsessed with them so had to order them when I came home. I had ruined all my good wash cloths from washing my face even AFTER using makeup remover. These cloths fit the bill perfectly.
