Homestead Textiles Ring Spun Line PimaCotton 4-Piece Bath Towel Set-Considered the most superior quality towels on the market, Homestead Textiles Pimacotton heavyweight towels are at the pinnacle of comfort and luxury. Pimacotton is woven from (ELS) Extra Long Staple cotton that is remarkably soft and smooth, yet up to 50-Percent stronger and more durable than other cotton varieties. Because of its fineness; more fibers can be spun into a yarn of a given count, creating a very thick, dense, durable and absorbent fabric that becomes softer after each wash. Even though Pimacotton towels are promoted as the best quality towels on the market, the price tag does not reflect this considering they will last longer and provide more years of luxurious use. Homestead Textiles's Cooperative of American Cotton Farmers has constructed the Ring Spun Line 4-piece towel set from hand selected, 100-Percent U.S. grown cotton that has been woven into super soft Pimacotton loops using Ring-Spun yarn. This process takes nearly five times longer to produce, but the extra steps are worth it because the end results are towels that are denser, more absorbent and less prone to shrinking or pilling. They also retain color better, even after repeated washings. A functional and decorative Fold-Over edge is added to finish off an already perfect towel. Set includes four generously sized 30-by-56-Inch bath towels for wrap around comfort. Coordinating 6-Piece Bath Towel set, 2-piece Oversized Bath Sheets/Towels and 2-piece Bath Mats also available thru Amazon. Machine wash warm, tumble dry low.

I loved these towels upon initial arrival. I ordered two sets, for a total of 8. I washed and dried (IAW provided instructions) upon arrival. A ton of lint came off of these towels over the first five or so wash cycles. They were super soft and still are, although not like the first use. I would say these towels have gone through about 15 wash cycles now. I have only washed these towels together in a load of either 7 or all 8 towels. Color durability/consistency thus far has been excellent. My wife also loves these towels. We each have individual sets (and colors) of towels, but after feeling mine coming out of the dryer, she immediately began using mine too. So these towels are getting good usage in this household. These are one of the softest towels I have used and are very absorbent. I am generally very happy with this purchase. The main concern I have about these towels, is the amount of runs I have seen with the fabric. Several of the loops have come undone on various towels, leaving long cotton strands coming off in random areas. For only using these towels a couple of months, I would not have expected this quite so soon. Fortunately, so far the end-seems have held up without issue. If they had come undone the way single strands of the main towel body is doing in places, I would have returned the towels. So far though, an occasional loop coming unraveled is the only issue.I received these towels and immediately used them, although I normally wash towels before using. The softness and absorbency are just as great as others have described. They sure are better than all the cheap, crappy towels I bought from Target. I haven't washed them yet, so I don't know about washer/dryer lint or color-fastness.There are, however, two things I'd like to share: (1) The color is not as shown. The ones I received are lighter in color - they're more of a blue-grey than the pretty blue shown online. (2) I accidentally hooked the towel with a necklace I always wear, and a long, long thread immediately pulled out of the towel. I don't know what this means as far as wear and tear, but it was surprising and a bit disappointing. All in all, I would buy these again instead of Target or Costco towels. But if color matters to you, you may want to try asking for a sample (if possible) before buying, or just expect them to not be quite the color shown.these towels are a great size, not too large or heavy. They will dry nicely on a rack and washed well. The towels are fluffy, absorbent, low shed, and very soft. I am pleased with my purchase EXCEPT while the supima cotton they are made of is grown in the US the towels are made in Pakistan. I am not sure I would have bought them if I had known that, as I try to buy domestically or at least from countries with economic systems that I can support. Just a comment.I agree with many of the other reviews in that these towels are not very absorbant. I'm usually a bargain shopper, so for $15 each, I expected more. I can say that I've washed mine a few times already and the color does appear to be holding well. I was surprised to learn that, while the cotton was grown in the U.S., the towels were made in Pakistan. They don't mention that in the specifications. "ALL AMERICAN LINE" is misleading. Not nice! Not nice.I was very happy with this product it wears well and its thick and fluffy. However I was mislead in assuming I was ordering a set or" 4 piece bath set" ".The product itself is great but when you consider a set it is usually bathe, hand, wash clothe.I live in Costa Rica so they will be put to good use,but I still would like to order hand towels and face cloth to match. My husband grows cotton for Calcot in Arizona. So of course, he wanted these towels. And they are nice towels. Fluffy and have kept their color. They may be made with cotton from America, but the cotton is obviously shipped overseas and the towels are made in Pakistan. I believe the product title is very misleading, and for that I say shame on you Calcot. I for one would be happy to pay a little more for something made in the USA so I could support our farmers and a manufacturer at the same time. These towels are OK. I'm not sure why they're call All American when my towels say they were MADE IN PAKISTAN. That's a pretty sneaky way to pull the wool over someone who's trying to buy American made goods. The towels aren't awful, but they're not great either. Not very fluffy and the threads get pulled out in the wash. They will dry you off, but I've had way better towels in the past. Expect them to last 2-3 years until they're too ragged looking for you to want to use them. These are the softest towels I have ever used, but poorly made. The stitching came loose on two when washed for the first time.
